Home Lodge of the Past Grand Master of Georgia

Jan had a lifelong interest in Freemasonry, but working and raising a family always seemed to get in the way of petitioning a lodge. Noticing a Masonic ring on a Brother at church prompted him to ask the magic question. A petition was obtained and his Masonic journey began. Jan was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason in January 2005 and quickly became an active member of the Lodge serving as Worshipful Master in 2009. Soon after leaving the East he was appointed as District Deputy to the Grand Master. He served in that capacity until he was appointed by F. Andrew “Drew” Lane, Jr. to be the Third Grand Steward of the Grand Lodge in 2012.

Our Brother feels he has found his purpose in the Brotherhood of Freemasonry and never imagined that there was the slightest chance of ever being Grand Master of Masons in Georgia. Jan looks forward to many more years of service to the craft.
